Don't ya love it when you can actually find parts for your Daytona on ebay...for a good price???

Well, I just ordered a K&N air filter for $45 (new), and a Sprocket Specialist 44 tooth rear sprocket for $21 (new) and a set of 8500K Xenon H4 bulbs for $12 (new)

Not a bad day of E-baying....pics of the bulbs to follow w/ a write up!

Do those bulbs really make a difference? I was thinking about giving them a shot. :???:

A buddy down the street runs them on his T595 and loves them. Another friend has them in his P/U truck and swears by them. Both claim that night time riding/driving is at least 100% better.

When they arrive, I'll snap a pic of my 955i with the old lights, and then with the new ones, and I'll post both. I'm hoping they do as well as I've heard, because I absolutely hate the stock low beams on my 03 'Tona.

I put the highter wattage bulbs in (65/100 if memory serves) and it's a huge difference. When the high beam comes on it really, really lights up the night- the visibility is waaaay more than my truck's high beams. I think it's one of the best cheap mods you can do to your bike if you ride at night, epsecially on dark winding roads.

I've been running 55/100 watt H4 bulbs for years. It's like daylight, I love 'em. Just always be sure to dim them quickly for approaching vehicles as they are for "off road use only" and if a cop wants to be a hard-ass about it (at least here in Georgia) he could ticket you.

I used to run the Osram Silverstars and tried a set of the new Hella Xenon 900x bulbs on my 02 and it was an even bigger jump in light than it was moving from stock to Silverstars
