Guy has a 2002 100th anniversary edition with 5K miles. Excellent condition.

What is the bikes dry weight and what is its value in the real world, not on KBB or NADA?

421lbs dry...

As far as the value, you have to determine what it has on it. Does it have exhuast, or other performance components? I paid $6500 for mine with 9K miles on it in November and it was loaded...

Definitely depends on condition + add-ons.

I just bought mine last month for $5500.

Also check the price on the Motorcycle Consumer News site - mcnews.com

Usually you'll find that of the three sites, one is way off in price and the other two are similar.

Good luck!

Aftermarket on Daytos is soft, strike a hard bargain!

I paid $5800 for mine in August of '04, the bike had 5000 miles, had never been down, perfect shape. The poor sap hadn't updated the tune to go with his new carbon pipe, and couldn't figure out why it seemed to be running less than optimal. Never had the heart to tell him. :lgh:
