Does anyone know of a brand/company that produces a high mount exhaust for my 05 daytona 955i that keeps the passenger foot pegs? I've been searching everywhere, or just not in the right place. I've even called the Triumph dealer I got my bike from here in Indianapolis and they said they don't know of any and that the Triumph high silencer doesn't but I see others' 2004 daytona 955i that does, I thought the two were pretty much the same bike except for the year...anyone else have any answers? Thanks

The Triumph high mount works for me! I just bought longer bolts and thought I'd be good. Well the gf just came to town (she has her own bikes in Chicago) and was first pillion on my 955. She was less than comfortable because the right peg stuck out about 2" farther than the left.

So I went to work modding the mount. I cut about 3/4" off the the part of the mount that touches the frame and then ground some of the peg hanger and where it contacts the mount some to bring it all in closer. After testing that out (which helped a lot) she said the stock exhaust hanger was causing her discomfort so I Dremelled it off too. Near perfection achieved! Yay!

Brought the peg in closer to the pipe and the pipe in closer to the bike. Hey, greater "mass centralization" as a side bene! LOL

Rear view. FYI those are the front signals with Clear Alternatives lenses and their chrome bulbs.

I like a little fender for the wet so I just trimmed mine up a bit. Works for me! Good luck. Have fun! Mark H.

Two brothers racing does. I have it on my bike and love it. I would rather have an underseat but I am not going to shell out the $1400 bucks for it. You can buy a kit to mount the rear pegs for $22.

Thanks for the help guys. 955iLimited, I would like to see pics of your two bros exhaust I was wanting to get one from them but they told me that they don't have a peg kit for the V.A.L.E. high mount exhaust. But I am considering the trident exhaust. Its too much work to do for the Triumph exhaust...
Thanks

We have the high mount in stock so can get one to you straight away if you decide to go that way - fits in about 15 minutes with no mods, no need to move signal lights or fit spacers etc and adds around 8 bhp. www.trident-exhausts.com

Thanks again for all the info, but the next question is...does anyone know of any good websites/companies where I can get a clear tail lense and some flush mount turn signals... I am new to the motorbike world... This is my first bike, so all the info you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Again!

wow, bill that is an awesome pic, I love it and now wish I had gotten the undertail. As for the lenses, try clearalternatives.com. Not sure if they have them for our bikes though. Can anyone help me out?

Love the way my Jardine sounds. They make an aluminum and a carbon fiber high mount. I bought mine through skyking. www.skykingproducts.com
