i was the bloke who kept whining on about my daytona 1200 had no go below 3500rpm,discovered this site and learnt that you can also shim youre carb needles up a notch or 2 to richen up the bottom end, if air screw alone isnt enough,my needles wernt dynojet so there wernt any notches,so a quick visit to my nuts and bolts tin produced 4 identicle close fitting washers "1mm thicknes MAYBE A BIT LESS. took the the plastic shim off the needle on with the washer,back on with the shim put needle back in slide reapeat 4 times.The result ."ONE HAPPY BUNNY"The old girl pulls strong from as low as 1500rpm,there is a lot of usfull info on that site ,well worth a look, :razz:
