Depends on where you're living now:

If, for example, you're in Syria....the celebration is very similar. Just switch from the "fireworks" with the blue stripes to the stuff with the yellow ones. :-D

(I think only the Mil guys out there are gonna get that one)

All the Americans where I work get invitations to the Ambassadors house for an outdoor reception on the 3rd (I don't know why they didn't do it on the 4th). Suit and tie? Outdoors, in July? S@rew that.

I had a good dinner at a Greek restaurant around the corner and shared some burbon with friends. And watched the Patriot the next day.
