and low and behold they still had 02 955i daytonas that were new!! i think i might pick up the blue one, they want 7995 otd does the bike ride diffrent then the older daytonas i know it was the first year w/o the sigle sided swinarm whats every one think before i sell my beloved t595 thanks

I can't say about the Double sided swing arm. The 02's are the ONLY year they had it.

My buddy has one and as far as I can tell they are pretty similar to the new ones. Only a few upgrades done, otherwise same bike. Take it for a ride and if you like it do it.

Well considering I paid 7500 plus tax for my 05...I think I would tell them to keep their 02. There are plenty of 05's still out there.

wow that price makes me sick :evil: i paid almost that much for mine used..... oh well it was an impulse buy any ways :razz:
they do ride pretty much exactly the same i have heard that when pushed to the limit the dssa is prefered because there is less flex but i dont ride mine that hard :-D :-D . That blue is sure a purty color

went to triumph today and well it feels like my 97 other then maybe the bars are higher but thats about all, i just found all the body work pieces in carbon fiber cheap from a guy in cali i cant wait

I agree with billindenver. I think the '02 has more of a Ducati look to it, which is very cool. The '05/'06 is the highest point of evolution the bike will ever see. I got a black on black LTD edition for $8500.00 out the door.
