Hello-when I switch to high beam my right side headlight goes out-when on low beam they both work-I've checked the bulb on the right and that is not the problem, the bulb is good(right side when sitting on the bike)Anyone know why it might be doing this?Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Keefer,

Just to be 100% sure, did you swap the bulbs to see if the problem follows the bulb? If it stays on the right side, there could be a relay that is bad on the contacts that goto the right side. I am just guessing that there is a relay from basic mechanics knowledge because I haven't worked on my bike. It is new and have the extended warranty so if there is a problem, I just let them deal with it :-D

Off topic. Welcome to the site. I see you live in Glendora. My friends and I go out there all the time to ride on Sunday mornings. Best time when it isn't crowded. Haven't though in a couple months though. Too many things happening, getting married, honeymoon stuff like that.

japawhat02.... if that is your bike in the picture...the silver one, did you install the flush front blinkers? i have the same... i want ya to check this for me on your front and rear blinkers...check to see if you have the black wire that is from the bike to the blinker, is it hooked to the solid black on the aftermarket blinker? check all 4 aftermarket blinkers and make sure that the factory black wire makes to the aftermarket blackwire...i had the same problem because i got in a hurry one evening and i figured that a dc bulb wouldn't matter if i wired it backwards....the blinkers worked but i noticed on the ride at night that the headlights had a problem...i would have to check the wiring diagram but it appears to me that they might be switching both wires thru a relay... anyway i got home and changed the next day and the problem disappeared...
so Keefer....do you have aftermarket blinkers installed?....if so check out the 4 blinkers too....
