I need new skins on my 99 Daytona 955i. I am looking at the Metzler Sportec M1 and the Michelin Pilot Power. Anybody have any experience with either of these????

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Backlash, My son just replaced a set of Z6s with the M1s. Nota good move. It's in the mid 90s and up around here and the tech remarks are that it's "A good cold weather tire that heats quickly.".

So far the best all around tires here have been the Metzler Z6 and the Bridgestone BT020.

Pilot Powers.

They will sustain enough lean on a T3 Daytona to sharpen the footpegs into points and to file the edge of the rear brake lever - all without slliding around like crazy or crashing.

Warm up quickly - stay at a very consistent temperature, great handling, predictable in the wet and even last pretty well on the street

I'm on my 5th set in 2 years

I imagine everything there will apply to a Daytona. It's 12 pages long and worth a look.

Oh yeah, Bridgestone 020's ........SUCK
