As many of you know my bike was recently tipped over a storm. As a result my highmount exhaust hanger snapped. Triumph told me I could not just buy the hanger but had to buy the entire exhaust!! They told me to check ebay. I checked and nothing was there. So, I checked around to find a local machine shop that would do a one-off piece. I found one and he did a hell of a job.

It weighs a couple of more ounces than the stock one but I can tell you this - it won't break! Here are some pictures:

I couldn't believe what Triumph told you - so phoned Fowlers parts in Bristol - I think your fabbed piece is the dogs bits - BUT you was misled - that part is readily available as a spare - by itself.

I couldn't believe it when they told me it couldn't be purchased by itself. I think this is a major difference between US and UK distribution.
