Try taking the center one off first.

Don't take it off at all. Just loosen and lower the fork tubes to install. I lowered both my tubes at the same time so I didn't have to pull the wheel and fender. Worked great.

Mad-what should I loosen and how do I lower the fork tubes? How would I remove the existing handle bars without removing the top tree? Thanks!!

You will have to jack the front of the bike up about 3 or 4 inches before starting. Same way you'd have to do to change a tire.

Remove the brake calipers and let hang by the brake lines.. They are held on by two bolts each.

The upper and lower triple trees have clamps on each end where each forktube passes thru. Loosen the two upper and two lower clamp bolts.

Once the eight clamp bolts are loosened the fork tubes are ready to be pulled downward just enough so you can remove the existing clip-ons (handlebars). I sit in front of the tire and wiggle the tubes back and forth while applying slight downward pressure.

Install the new clip-ons one at a time and slowly work the forktubes upward untill flush with the top on the upper triple trees. You can also let the bike down in increments to help with pushing the fork tubes upward. Tighten all clamps to Triumph factory torque specifications. The torque settings for all the clamp bolts is 20 ft. lbs.
Install the brake caliper. Torque the caliper bolts to 30 ft. lbs.

Get your new clip-ons where you want them and tighten the bolts. Use the manufacturers torque specification.

One more thing. Put a blanket over your gas tank before you begin to avoid scratches and dents.

Brooksie, There are two bolts, one each side that will have to be removed. They are on the underside of the upper triple clamp and at each handlebar.

Which ever method you use, the front will have to come off the ground or you'll most likely have trouble getting the center bolt on the upper triple clamp aligned. A rear paddock stand is also highly recommended.

Yeah, I forgot about that little bolt. All it does is keep the stock clip-ons aligned on the factory bars.
My Helibars came without a tab for the little alignment bolt so you can put the bars where ever you like.
