I recently acquired a 2000 Triumph Daytona 955i in the Silver color. I had the Dunlop 220 tires put on it as a delear recommendation. The rear is a 185 vs. a 190 width. Other modifications done by the previous owner include bar-end mirrors, flush mount front turn signals and a modified rear for the license plate and small rear signals. The bike also has a new chain on it.
It rides nice and smooth but I must admit that I am used to more upright bikes. Previously I had a Ducati Monster and my other bike is a Honda Valkyrie. Do risers help or would that ruin the bike? As I said, the bike is smooth, quick and mechanically sound, just uncomfortable. Since I had a Corbin seat on the Ducati which helped, I've ordered one for the Daytona. I hope it keeps me back from the tank a bit.
