Hey all, I went to do my first chain adjustment on my new Daytona today but of course there was no C spanner wrench in the toolkit.

Any suggestions to paying $84 at the dealer? I really do not want to continue adjusting the eccentric via the hammer/screwdriver method :-D

The chain adjuster should've been in your tool kit that came with the bike. Mine was missing and the dealership gave me one.

I thought that too, but when they checked the toolkit from another Daytona in the showroom, it didn't have one either.

But thanks for the info, maybe the dealer will change their tune seeing as this obviously is not the first time something like this has happened.

Just type "spanner wrench' in the find box on the left. Just about any size or style you would want. They have a few adjustable ones too. They will most certainly be MUCH more heavy duty than the one Triumpn will try to sell you.
