Howdy folks

I have an 05 Daytona 955i. Other than the union jack she is completely stock. I want to change the can on her to get a deeper throaty growl. I also would like to get a high mount or an undertail setup. However the undertail unit is a bit more than my marriage will allow me to spend.

Oh and I would like to be able to keep my rear pegs cuz I occasionally ride two up with a lady on the back..

What do you guys recommend for a brand/model to suit my needs??? :???:

I have seen several bikes with the Triumph Stainless and it really sounds good. Really perks out the output, too. It lets the mechanical use a hotter program and gives the bike more low end punch. Looks great. If you are stuck on under seat, go with Wolf. If not stick with Triumph parts. They are made very well. by the way, very great looking bike!

I have the Triumph off road carbon fiber pipe. I love the tone. It is loud, but not deafening. I do have a leak where the metal crimps over the CF, but not a huge deal to me. The non-highmount allows passengers to keep their feet away from the pipe too, so no reason to remove pegs.

Cobra, Tis a good color indeed and look at dem virgin primary pipes! Welcome to the forum.

To keep the pillion pegs and have a high mount I think you're limited to an oval high mount. Wolf and Leo Vince rank #1 in my book closely followed by 2Bros.

I thought the Triumph stainless low mount was temporary, but looks like it'll stay. Sounds good, looks good, hmmm must be good, just a wee bit heavy.

I have the Trident (wolf) carbon fiber high mount. Excellent exhaust, get the triumph offroad tune and you will be fine. Good price too. Talk to Peter (wolf) and he will help you out. He is really good about customer service. IMHO it is the best exhaust out for our bikes. Oh and I have a red bike and it matches soooooo good.

The Triumph factory highmount allows you to keep the passenger pegs (that's what I have). If you check my member photo album, there is a picture of my bike with the highmount and rear passenger pegs.

However, should you decide to go with another brand - you can buy the hardware online that allows you to keep the rear pegs.

Hmmm.. seems I need an updated picture.. those primaries aren't so virgin any more.. I got the bike in december and I have almost 4k miles on it now.

Wow, pipes are gettin quite a workout lately, well any excuse to show off my baby!

My personal favorite:

Cobra, fixin to replace this one with the Wolf underseat, brad has first dibs, youd be 2nd in line if interested.

Brad...it keeps the pegs but you lose the indicators, mine are integrated into the LED taillight.

INCREDIBLE sound!
