Dropped my Baby...

My 95 daytona 900 highsided over a greasy wet spot gettin on the newport freeway.

Landed on my NECK OWWW!

Cracked my windscreen

Calling Lockhart Phillips i find

the Dark tint Speedscreen I bought for $40odd n change a coupla yrs back is NLA no longer available

Dont really wanna plunk $215 for a orig Triumph one
An old Gixxer screen looks close

But I doubt it
What are my options?

that sucks big time, feel your pain. went over on a greasy spot last december on my d900.

try sprint manufacturing

they do replacements i think for £40ish and ship overseas.

also try skidmarxs and powerbronze. they do the dark screens as well.

i just sold my 'leftovers' from the daytona. including a dark screen and standard.

i'm also going to california on my hoeymoon on mon.

believe me, if i still had 'em, i'd bring 'em out to you.

UPDATE (LONG)
Aiii! just got shocked outta bed two ways

First my neck was all crammed againt this big featherbed cover I brought over from Mom's
Two...I forgot how alergic I can sometimes get from
feathers. So I sprung up yelling OW! OW! but not really being able to breathe in.
I feel almost like a Triumph with a broken petcock.

hmmm Broken Petcock....wasnt that some Civil War indian cheif?
Sorry ...I had a MakersMark Manhattan w/a CoTylenol chaser
mustve been why I was passed out in allergin world

Anyway
I didnt get that chewed up in my crash
of course the one night I go ridin without full leathers!
I thought "Jeans will look cooler"
(not when theyre tattered and bloodied)
At least I had Jacket n Boots
Now when I check left for traffic or glance over my shoulder. At times that'll feel like a lightning bolt goin all through neck.
My forks look all dribbly from brake fluid and fork oil gettin on em
I'm Bummed ,wanna get my bike back on the road
But have been workin on a buncha car bs
without a buncha time
-a 635CSi engine swap
-Tryin to finish up on my 64.5 'stang vert
-Plus get my peely paint POS Dodge Cargo Van semi
roadworthy.
And I wanna swim laps regularly to help heal my
sorry-ass underinsured bikr body
I should use the healin time to fix sprag but thats way outta my wrenching level...for the money Id rather
look for a newer used trophy motor
Another Time I will tell you guys about the 955i that got away (Im STILL kickin myself).

Hey Rocker, I have a spare stock clear screen from a '96 Daytona 1200. I think we can work something out if it fits and you can wait until July 23rd when I can get back to my parts pile. I'm new here, so this thing will not let me post private yet. Good luck.
