Can anyone recommend a good-fitting, medium capacity tank bag for the 02 Daytona? Would like to ride this thing overnight once in a while, and am getting tired of the backpack thing.

a bit obvious,but Triumph sell a sports tankbag with harness,as the tank is plastic.works well.the other option is a Baglux tank cover and matching tank bag,various sizes available.more expensive but will also protect the tank from scratches.anymain dealer will order for you.

I too have tried and tried to find a good tankbag. I tried the magnetic bag from a previous bike, and well that just doesn't stick real well. The other problem with the tank bags is scratching. I have been working with this guy for a Triumph application. I sent him the specs for the 02 Daytona, and I am waiting on the product. Check out http://www.rocketlocker.com/tanklocker.html
I have met this guy at a couple of times at races and shows, and I think he is on to something. Hope this helps,

The Tank Locker looks good! I like the idea! When do you expect receipt of the product?

hopefully next week. It was a tough choice between the locker and the Ventura system, so I will get both.
Get those clip ons yet?
