Same as every other bike, really. Warm engine, shut off, drain oil, remove filter, fill and install new filter, re-install drain plug ( i use a new crush washer every other change), fill, run motor, shut of and let settle, check again, clean all the bloody oil off the floor because I kicked the drain pan while chasing the kid out of the garage, done. :-D .
Cheers, Lee S.

parapar123, I don't know about your bike's year, but for the '02s and newer, Triumph recomends 15W-40 Mobil1 4T (pricey) that we could only find in 15W-50 which worked fine. Japawhat02 ordered some 15W-40 Repsoil 4T for his '02 D955i at a better price. Capacity is 3.2L.

The Mobil1 4L jug is labeled: Meets API SJ; JASO MA

Brad, check with Advance Auto Parts. Around here, they carry the 4T in 10W-40.

anybody know of an equivalent crush washer from another bike? Someone told me suzuki but i dont know which one. Does anyone have a part number or a definite fit from another company? I want one today so i can change my oil tomorrow. Does anyone have a washer that they could measure and tell me the dimensions?

In all honesty m8,, I change mine maybe every 5 oil changes, I would suggest that you can change your oil, measure the washer if you like and reuse till your next change,,,nothing bad is gonna happen.....
