Growing up around 50's and 60's Triumphs and Nortons all my life, I have become enthrawled with them. I am not much of a sports bike rider, but I am looking into buying a 955i Daytona (2003-2005). My question is, how comfortable is it for a passenger? My girlfriend said her legs and thighs got to hurting on the Jap bike she's been on. I can't find anything on the comfort level for the passenger for the Daytona, so any info you can give would be great.

Thanx,
Kelly D.

PS. I will probably get the gel seats, if it doesn't come with them.

We find that after an hour and a half we need to stop for a bum scratch and leg stretch. Dosn't take long a lay by halt will do. My daughter reckons bikers are disgusting because you always see them off the road massaging their backsides.

If you want anything more comfy go for a Sprint - its a arm chair by comparison.

My girlfriend is 5' 8" tall, about 140lbs and finds the Daytona to be a pretty comfy ride. We don't have the grab bar yet, but it seems like a rather important accessory if you plan on doing any spirited rides.

the leg muscles of your gal will develop with more riding time. These muscles will help her grip the seat and bike better, taking strain off hers and yours upper torsos. Just like riding a horse, this development takes time.
