After just seeing Mad's posting of his Black one I'm torn. That black with underseat would be super menacing. Then again, the yellow seems to give the bike an agressive race look. Maybe its the subconcious Ducati thing. Yellow would often look nice next to my yellow NSX - but thats probably not a good reason to go yellow as they don't go riding together nor will the NSX ever pull it.

Lets see your yellows and blacks!

I agree with Sprocketjock, British Racing Green. When you absolutely have to get all the ladies, accept no substitute... :upthumb:

Once you go black...you know the rest.

I'm old school. Never wear leather pants and never own a yellow vehicle. They go hand in hand. Sorry, that's the way I was raised.

Thats funny Mad. I guess since you lump yellow vehicles with leather pants (which some consider too fashionable or feminine) you must think a yellow vehicle is soft or fruity.

Usually yellow in a vehicle means get the #%$! out of my way as in competition racing yellow RX-7, Fly yellow Ferrari, M3, Lamborghini and of course spa pearl NSX. Nonetheless, not any vehicle can pull it off and not every person can pull it off. Those that have yellow toys generally have type A personalities and likely have little hang ups or insecurities

Looks like you took my post personally? That's too bad.
Yes, I was in high school in the 60's. We all had some kind of muscle car and the very rich even had Triumph Bonnevilles. No yellow ones though. I had a black 64 Goat with 3 deuces.
Nobody in our high school had a yellow muscle car. Not even girls with Volkswagons. But there was one boy who had a yellow Jaguar XKE. He didn't play any sports, didn't hang out, no girlfriend, no chess club, nothing.
Now he is in the furniture business and is one of the richest people in Okla. City. He has never shaken his reputation to this day and is a confirmend you know what.
Different time than it is today and rightly so.

BTW, all the girlie cars you listed are slow. I can prove it.

Course I didnt take it personally, hence the smiley faces. And I would agree that yellow bulky muscle cars doesn't work. Car has to have tight sleek lines to pull it off. Maybe this is why the Ducati's wear yellow a little better than the 955.
