Is there any 17" wheels that i can fit into my daytona? im fed up with the limited tyre choice caused by 18" rims, i would love 180/55/17 and adjust the sprockets to suit unless it does not interfere with the gearing too much. if not is there a different swing arm i can fit?

All T3 or T4 series daytonas used 17 inch wheels from 94 onwards.

If your wheels look like this they are off the earlier model

Later models had 17" which are three spoke designs and look like the ones fitted to this Legend

Will have them as they do 17" wheel conversions for most Triumphs.

this is the second 95 daytona 1200 i have owned and both have had the same wheels, solid 3 spoke type and 18" noticed some postings regards this and there seems to be conflicting information. i noticed one stating that it may have been sold with a 180 cross section tyre/wheel combination but this makes me wonder about wheel/chain alignment.

Then you are buying Daytonas with hooky wheels.

Quote from Manual.

Tyres ( I assume the tyre sizes match the wheel sizes! )

Front

Daytona and Speedtriple..........120/70 ZR 17 ( 17" no? )

Rear

Daytona and Speedtriple..........180/55 ZR 17 ( 17" Thinks me?)

The 180 is the tyre width. Not 18"

If that whats causing the confusion.

I have a 95 Daytona 1200 and it has definately got 17" three spoke standard Triumph black wheels. with a 180 width 55 sidewall depth ZR speed rated 17" tyre on the rear!
