I am in the process of purchasing a 955i 2003 edition but there is no headlight on/off switch fitted to the bike. When the engine is running the lights will be on. Just wondering if this is a positive or negative thing and if an on/off switch can be fitted? If so, how much does it cost? Just wondering if it is worth the hassle. I have seen the bike.. it's awesome! I am glad I went with Triumph! Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

That has been that law in the USA for the last fifteen or twenty years or so. No, bike of any make has an on-off switch on the lights unless you add one yourself. I do know a few crazy squids who add switches for stealth mode though.

Nice choice by the way. Enjoy.

I've read somewhere that running the high beams may actually confuse the laser units in speed traps. If this is true, it's an added bonus to being seen by the "cagers".

Anybody know for sure??: Jim
