My view as well and I managed to get a locked thread pretty soon after joining.
The site administrators must have their reasons for doing this, so I accept that there are to be no parts requests in this forum. I was looking for a muffler to help someone else with their damaged bike, a harmless enough thing on other sites. But other sites are not packed with good information about the Triumph Daytona, so that is how it is!
The no access to Classifieds for 30 day rule makes it a bit difficult until that hurdle is passed. Now that I can access the Classifieds and see the rules, I understand the reasoning. Would it be possible to make the Classified rules visible to new members, even though the Classifieds themselves are not?
I seem to recall that going to the Classified section in that period did not bring up the rules, just a barrier or some sort?
