It may mean that it's a late production '05 which can already have some or all changes commonly associated with a '06 model year D955i. Like most manufacturers, changes don't always coincide exactly with the first model year VIN.

Whenever one is ordering parts for a Triumph pay close attention to the VIN or engine number.

well got a reply from owner he is under the impression its original and its an 06 dash he may have bought it this way 2nd hand who knows i think Ill give it a miss and still have to sell the bmw r1200s anyway thanks to all who helped Craig
