I do a lot of work with my local dealership (run trips to France, open weekends, demo days) so am well in with them. Will get in there and do some measuring before I decide. No rush as originals work, just action a bit stiff on throttle and clutch cable in ugly place.

No, they're not.

The best choice I would suggest is clutch cable from 1050 Speed Triple - that does not have the hard metal bends and goes over the front and directly down the right side, not through the frame.

Great Job!!

I wonder how the riding position of these compares with the convertibars set up where they are clip-ons that can slide up and down on a bar that parallels the fork?? Maybe issues with the fairings with the convertibars???

I'm in the middle of making this mod. I just now located an S3 top triple clamp for my 02 Daytona 955. It took me almost a year to find one on ebay. No joke. Plenty of later, 1050 ones.

Upon examining the left grip wiring, it appears that if you detatch the wiring from the front faring you will have enough to make it to the relocated switchgear without splicing on longer wires.

Just fitted a Tiger 1050 clutch cable, a bit long but not excessively so. Next thing is to fit a set of throttle cables from a tiger. Surprisingly they are shorter than the Daytona ones, they route down the right hand side instead of going the long way round. Will post when I get it done, not in any rush with more snow forecast for the weekend.

Did you find a simple solution for the brake hose yet? I'm getting to the point in my project where I'll be ordering a custom length one if there isn't a cheap alternative

Brake hose was the best part by far. One of my friends had an extra SS one from his old style Kawi Concours. It's red though, but FREE
