I have finally aquired all the parts to make up a full second set of body work including a tank. Actually, I have more than enough parts. If anyone needs a nose, a left side panel or a windshield, let me know.
I think it's time to contemplate a new paint sceme. What ever I come up with it has to go with my red wheels. I'm not going to paint those again for a while.
I'm thinking a two tone, black with a silver insert, trimmed with a red accent stripe, similar to the factory sceme, but of course different. How's that for descriptive?
I've also contemplated flames but I think they have been over done as of late.
I also have a little bit of Chromalusion. I've thought of using some of that but if I did I would have to find a way to make it subtle.

I've got a blank canvas here guys, what do you think?

I kinda like that "ghosting" stuff they do. Saw some checkered stripe ghosting on the fender of a Triumph a while back - looked trick.
Thinking about doing it to my CE sometime in the future - silver checkered racing stripes would look GREAT on the aston green, don't you think?
So whaddaya think? How 'bout some ghosted checkered racing stripes on that bad boy?

That's not a bad idea, and it wouldn't be that hard to do. I'll have to put some serious thought to that.

My thought was to do something similar to the bike I'm going to try to add a picture of. I thought I would replace the blue with silver and separate the black and silver with 1" red stripes shading them so they seem to float off the silver.
Now, if I did the ghost checkers in the silver, and add the correct Super III and Daytona decals, that might just be what I'm looking for.

It'd have to be good to look better than the current scheme you have, but the black & silver with red (and ghosting as mentioned above) would, in my opinion, look very sweet.
