Pilot Powers

Anyone using these? Never had them before, but the dealer fitted a pair for me prior to me taking the bike. They feel great always except the rear seems to get almost a weave on in a straight line. Sort of squirmy, but not when you're hard on the gas. Anyone else found similar?

I'm running these, it's what the PO had on the bike when I bought it. Seem great for my needs and I haven't noticed any squirminess, but I'll pay attention now that you bring it up.

and now every time you ride you'll be thinking "did it just do that?"

what pressures do you run?

I've been running the standard recommended pressures from Triumph which I believe is 32F and 38R.

thanks.................. I thought the pressures for the Tona were 36F 42R....... I'll check the book. May try them at 32 / 38 and see what happens.

Hmmmm, I'm away from the book right now so don't quote me on those numbers, but I'm pretty sure. I always get mixed up because I maintain multiple bikes.

just checked my handbook............ pressures for the SSSA Tona quoted as 36/42. DSSA Tona 32/38. Why the difference?

S3 is same as DSSA Tona, so maybe the SSSA Tona numbers are a misprint. Might explain why the back end feels so bloody hard too.
