is when it is set up. I got my bike a month or 2 ago. 2 weeks ago I went for my first ride through the hills in Angeles Crest Forest. Going in and out of corners was scary. It felt like I didn't have control. I thouht it was me just learning the bike.

So today we all go out again, so this time I stiffined the suspension from the stock settings.. Wow, the handling was excelent. I was in and out of corners quickyl. Still need a little more tuning but almost there.

yes, that would be nice, but a little out of my price range at the moment.

There's no such thing as "out of my price range", it just means you have to save a little longer. :-D

I have the Ohlins and RaceTech as well and love it. But other brands would work as well and are a little less expensive.

It really isn't the price. It is the timing. I want to get the exhaust first, but that is being held up at teh moment. Wedding plans and honeymoon in Tahiti.

I went on the ohliens site and found the parts for my daytona. My question is, eveyone is using racetech springs, why didn't you go fro the ohlien front fork springs?

I have the Ohlins fork springs and RaceTech GoldValves. I think the GoldValves are more important than the springs.

Definately will be easier. I got the ring, then I was able to get the bike. Now get married, then able to spend money on the bike. :upthumb:

If the ohlins rear shock is a bit out of your budget Penske has a setup a bit less expensive that works very well, all adjustments are ez to reach and make a noticeable difference. I've ridden bikes with both and purchased the penske for about $200 less.Ditto on the racetech fork mods they are wonderfull.
