I have a 2002 955i. Ever since it was new (it now has 8900 miles on the clock) the drivetrain clunks a lot. Not every shift, but enough to be very annoying. It clunks when I release the clutch after shifts to 2nd or 3rd and it even clunks if I snap the throttle closed at about 5k rpm in 2nd. The dealer swears it is just drivetrain lash and that it is normal. I have owned 14 bikes including a '98 Thunderbird Sport, and none of them have done this. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

Jim

I have an '02 Daytona 955i CE and have not had this problem. It can be a little jerky in slow 1st gear traffic when you are transitioning on and off the throttle, but that's more down to the injection system, I think. Good luck sorting it out.

hi, i'm fernan, (fruizb) p0462 error on my daytona.

I'd this clonck even when I made a shift.

The problem was the silentblock of the rear wheel.

change the silentblock(a rubber), 90 euros and resolved it
