I do find that the faster I go the easier it is to hold my head w/helmet up. I even have the Heli-bars on my 05 Daytona. Getting old is hell.

Despite all the other levels of high performance the Daytona fails miserably as a parade vehicle.

"Feels a little deliberate?" They feel almost dangerous at real slow speeds - they are not made for commuting at 15 mph. Get it on a real road and they shine. All bikes are deficient in one or more ways - I would rather have one that handles twisties and high speed. If I want to commute on a bike I'd get a scooter.

My FZR is the same way. Feels like ***** in the commute on streets, but once I hit the open road and go through a windy road in the valley, it sure does shine.

I haven't had the Daytona long enough to say yet. I can only ride a little as my back is still in pain from my car accident 1.5 months ago
