whould that upgrade work on t595? and whats the cure for the crappy back brake?
Just saw this - not sure if you're still interested a year later HardCharger, but one improvement is to install a 1/2" rear master cylinder in place of the OEM 14mm unit.
Kawasaki's are a good source for replacement & readily available on E-Bay for typically less than $25 - note that many of the Kwackers are 'though' hole mounts as opposed to threaded holes, like the OEM Triumph part - however the EX500 (86- current) are threaded as are the latest '06 636 units. Even if you get a "through hole" item, you can just replace the OEM with longer bolts & nuts (but why not get something plug n play?)
There is also an alternative fix for an alternative longer clevis pin bracket but this (from reports) is not necessarily a better fix & not currently available. There is a 'sign-up' list on T595.net to see if the designer/fabricator Jeff Spencer will do another manufacturing run. Jeff Spencer Clevis Pin Sign-Up
I just received my 'new' M/C (for $26 shipped!) and will probably be content with that.

Update - well maybe a little too good to be true - the EX-500 M/C does indeed have threaded holes but they are offset less from the cylinder than the OEM Triumph holes. So maybe have to settle for the through holes models after-all. I'll keep searching though!

Has anyone upgraded forks on a 95 Daytona 900? Or other T3?

Seems like easy to find inexpensive newish inverted forks on craigslist from people parting out wrecked Jap crotch rockets.

Wonder how difficult to match up?

The passenger peg brackets from the speed four will fit the daytonas. I had removed mine on my daytons a while ago. Removed the ones from my wife's bike tonight and they would fit right on the daytona. They seem to extend out a little further, but the bolt holes line right up.

Sorry if I mispost this. I am new to this site and posting in general. Just picked up a1995 Daytona 1200. Engine has been extensively modified, I don't have a complete list, but it dynos over 165. Problem for me is arthritis in wrists. (I couldn't pass on the deal it was too good) In looking at the bike and comparing the frame and essential elements, it seems identical to the sprint and trophey. If so, would the top clamp and higher rise bars from these two models fit on the daytona? Also the foot controls. I know this would change the seating position (which is what I really need in as much as I am a little too old to be doing an 8 second qtr mile. If this is possible, anyone know where I can get the used parts? Don't mind picking up a donor bike if necessary.
thanks

what wheels fit 03 daytona 955?
what wheels fit 03 daytona 955? I have been told that any sssa wheel will fit, but my main question is what wheels will fit the front? i went down slow speed and both wheels need replacing along with some other parts:

front and rear wheels
front fairing cowl
side fairing
right driver foot peg
fairing stay ( metal piece the rear view mirror bolts to just behind front fairing)
rt. clip on handle bar

thanks for any help in advance

I can't recall if I posted this in another thread or not...the SSSA from the late 90's T595 is an exact match to the '02/'03 SSSA Daytonas, all parts bolt up seamlessly...just make sure you get the cam set in the right place for chain adjustment BEFORE you put the chain on

Rear wheel shouldnt be a problem - for front will need to be from 2002+ Daytona or 2002-2004 Speed Triple - smaller axle (20mm) and speedo drive on left make for incompability with other years (25mm & speedo drive on right)

radiator and cooling fan for 97-01 Daytonas
Recently replaced both on my Daytona: original radiator had a bent support from previous crash and original fan blades were molten in a hot day. Replaced the fan assy (with a Muzzy fan) with motor and radiator purchased from e-bay. Radiator came with motor and original fan so I sent the original one to a repair shop and now have a complete set I am willing to sell:
