Just got the T955i yesterday. Have had the R6 for 3 years now. Not fond of the skulls on the bike.

I just picked up an '04 955i se:

It was a salvage title that was dropped on a test ride at the dealership and fully fixed by the tester's insurance. It had 810 miles on it when I got it and runs like a champ. She's fully registered now with a clean title, and 3,600 miles in the past 7 weeks.

After putting 65k on an XR650 this is like a featherbed! What a terrific piece of machinery.

No mods as of yet, but I'm shopping exhausts to get rid of that monstrously huge can, and I did have to buy the pillion cowling. Sliders and gel seat are on the way (featherbed or not, 2 hours still puts your ass to sleep!).

Are there any opinions on the exhausts? I've looked at the Trident stubbies and the SMF Barracuda, but have no frame of reference to make an informed decision.

Thanks,

Smitty

EDIT: my picture is put to shame by the Alaska shots, but I do live on Bear Creek Road (2 miles from Hwy 9) in Boulder Creek, CA. Gimme a shout if you're in my neck of the woods anytime!

Here are 2 pics of my newly acquired 2004 Daytona 955i SE. Once the weather gets a bit nicer I'll take some pics of the new bike along with its brother (1995 Daytona 900 Diablo Black.)

Enjoy.
