Hello........new to Triumph and new to the site.

I just bought an 02 Triumph Daytona 955i a couple weeks back and have been looking at aftermarket pipes. My question is about these high mount systems I see, what happens to the passenger peg? Can you still have riders?

(tried searching but could not find an answer)

I have an 04 and put the Triumph high mount carbon fiber. You could still use the passenger footpegs, although the second and third things I did was to put the seat cowl on and remove the passenger pegs.

so the high mount does not affect the passenger pegs? Cool.......wife would not be too happy about me getting rid of her seat.

It also depends on which pipe you buy. As far as I know the factory pipe does not come with the aluminum spacers and bolts to offset the passenger peg. I just put a scorpion pipe on my 04' and it came with the spacers.

check skykingproducts.com web site for the spacers needed when using high mount exhaust and retaining passenger foot pegs

Check out the MHP titanium high mount. Great sound and performance. You can get the spacers from Sky king. My wife only rides on the Bonneville so no need for me........John

Some pipes like the Wolf don't even need a spacer - they tuck in nicely behind the footpeg on teh high level

Thanks Peter but it looks like Mini_Magic lost his rear pegs with the wolf high mount.
