WOW.. is the only word I can say

After my 1st full day riding my '98 Daytona 955, WOW, what an amazing machine. To be 12 years old it is just unreal, the power, handling and everything is so much better(to me) than my previous ZX9R and I thought it was aweseome.. I'm so hooked now on this bike,
going to be an great Spring..

I just had my first real outing on my 1998 T595 as well, after treating her to an oil and filter change this afternoon. The sound with the TOR carbon high mount is beautiful and mean at the same time! My idle gets low when warm (about 1100 RPM), and the oil light flickers a bit, but it hasn't died at idle on the road. Enjoy!

I love my T595 more than words can express, Light and lofty front end in 1-3rd gear though

Near perfect weather day here in Alabama right at 70 degrees and nothing but, blue skies.
Just put another 200 miles on her,, geez the more I ride it the harder it is to believe this bike is 12yrs old and still rides and performs like it does. Thank God I found this jewel on Craigslist. I had never known anything about Triumph's except the 1972 Bonneville my dad had many, many years ago.

Welcome to the club fellas! I've had my '98 t595 / 955i for a couple of yrs now and i still sometimes just sit and look at it, though the style doesn't appeal to everyone. Did a 2,500k trip on it last Oct to watch the MotoGP at Phillip Island, didn't miss a beat through rain every day and even snow on one day, great machine!!!
