mjonesjr8, The '98 has a similar sight glass as the ZX9. RHS, semi obscured by the fairing.

There is no sight glass.... someone else said there should be a dipstick, is it suppose to be where you fill the oil if so, it's not there either> I hate to just wait till the light comes on.

mjonesjr8, My '98's sight glass is in the clutch cover. The second gen, '02> 955 engine uses a dipstick. If there's another cover that fits, I don't know where it's from.

hi man, this is my '97 model of T595 and here is the sight glass you need to look in it's in the hole in the bellypan on a clutch cover... mine has it a bit moved so I don't have the best access through the hole to it, but hopefully it helps you a bit

Thanks guys I finally found it, mine has no hole I'll have to take the bottom panel off to get a good view of it... strange.
