Daytona Bar Risers

Just fitted my new risers from Sprint Manufacturing and jolly nice they are too!

Looks interesting, thanks for sharing! How much they cost?

You get the bit the bars go into, i.e. half the clamp and you use the other halves of the original clamps.

It looks like they are only for the earlier Daytona shape.

I just finished installing the set I bought from Swatt Motorcycle Products. I got two sets of risers, 2 1/2" and 3 1/2", and went with the 3 1/2". With the latter I have JUST enough clearance between the throttle housing/brake lever and the fairing at full left lock. This puts the bars as high as is practical to help out my 51 yr. old wrists. The parts are very nicely machined and black anodized, and they are (were) offered in red and clear anodized as well. Unfortunately they just went out of business a week or so ago. They'll be selling the remainder of their inventory on Ebay soon, and I'll be listing the 2 1/2" risers I have there as well. Photos to follow soon.

Does the 1 and a half inch rise make much of a difference in the comfort stakes Mark?

I aborted a 350 mile trip on Sat after 1 mile and took the Trident instead. The combination of the clipons and a rucksack on my back made me feel too cramped and I had problemns moving my head to the side at junctions. I'm looking for something to improve the riding position. I've looked at these clipons and also "comfort kits" on ebay where you the the top yoke, risers, bars and brake lines. I'm wishing I had bought a speed triple now as it looks like the best part of £500 to convert it to one.

It does make quite a difference, but your Trident will be more comfy over long distance (I know this as I have a Sprint 900 also).
I can happily do 100 mile stints on my T595 now. 30 miles was max before!
Bike comfort seems to be a pretty personal thing though. Just look at that mad Sanders bloke. He went round the world on a T595 and an R1!!
