I have another problem with my 955i

I was riding along when I hit a bump in the road and it caused the engine light to come on and the bike to stall for a second and then go right back off and continue running normally. Now, it is happening more frequently and all this started after I put full injection cleaner in it to clean the throttle bodies up after having an oil leak from the stator. Any kind of help will be helpful because I am trying to sell the bike.

Thanks

Irrelevant to the FI cleaner or generally to your previous problems

I say generally - did you ever get your seat issues sorted out? You are obviously shorting something out (or disconnecting) when you go over a bump.
Is the battery strapped down?
Are the battery terminals tight?
Does the positive terminal lead have its red rubber cover over it?

hammbone930, The battery connections are my first choice also. They really can become loose over time. There should also be a hard plastic strap over the battery.

As far as the those seat clamps go (if you haven't installed them), they install into slots in the seat and bolt down to rivlets in the sub frame. Ten to one, the person who installed your battery possibly has yours somewhere in his work area collecting dust.

Let me know if you need any pics.

The seat has been sorted out with velcro.
The battery is not strapped down.
The positive terminal screw was a little loose.
The red rubber cover IS intact.

I will test drive asap and get back with you to see if the screw being loose is the problem.......

I once had something like that happed but it was my fault.
i was riding along and my key fob (alarm) was twisted so i gave it a shake and the engine light came on and it stalled well kind off
like it was out of gear i could rev it but no power.

I pulled over turned off and started it up again all seemed fine.

all because i moved the Key

I had the same problem in my car before, definitely sounds like a short somewhere.

I had it happen while I was going 70+ on the freeway; I got a huge jerk, rpms dropped to ~1k and then back up to where they were originally at that speed, all lights coming on for that half of second.

Turned out the shop I had replace my rear main seal, the day before, had taken the cap off of my battery terminal, and it was barely making contact with the hood when I hit a bump.

Good luck.
