955 Engine Fail at 3000RPM

Hello Guys, I Buied my Daytona 955i 2006 with 15000Km yesterday and I'm very happy with this bike!!

But when I accelerate from Idle, and when the RPM is passing throug 3000RPm-3400RPM the engine fails.
Any suggestion why is that occurring?

No fail above 3500RPM, the engine raise the RPM very fine above that.

Thanks very much!

Hello!

When you say 'fails' do you just mean a flat spot?

Do you have after-market exhaust on the bike?

There is a lean spot right in that region and will be worse with after-market pipe.
Dealer can install a different map in the computer for after-market pipe which may help.
Ultimately Tuneboy or Pc3 will be the best solution.

Yes, I have after-market exhaust on the bike. It's a Sarachu(brazilian) High end model.

Hmm.. I don't know what is a flat spot. But i think yes.
I will go try to explain better:
When I'm accelerating the bike and the RPM pass through 3000RPM the engine stop to raise RPM(fail, like a Pop pop sound) for about 1 second, and then return to raise RPM normally and fast principally after 4000RPM.

Thanks very much for any help!!

fala conterrâneo, de que estado você é? Moro em São Paulo...

"Flat spot" é justamente o que você descreveu, um ponto em que você acelera e a rotação não sobe como nas outras rotações...
