It was a stolen recovered bike. It had a burnt out clutch, broken locks, all panels damaged, but worst of all the wiring had been butchered.
It took about 30 hours or work to rewire the whole thing, with the help of another forum member who emailed the diagrams. I have to say, I am less than impressed with the standard of the original wiring from the factory. I reckon this one now has a far better job than when it rolled off the production line. The before pictures dont look too bad, & the bike was previously well looked after prior to theft, as I did my homework before purchasing.
The bike in the background is a 900 Rickman that was dropped with me at the weekend by a friend who was touring here in Scotland when it started playing up. It requires a sprocket to be specially machined as the current one looks like it had a hard day at the dentist.
Finally all I have to do is MOT it and source a suitable set of mirrors as I have tried everywhwere to get replacements. I managed to get a left one but nothing so far on a R/H mirror.
I have taken it for a brief spin & I am initially impressed with how it is riding. The WOLF exhaust is very good looking and the noise is just incredible.
