Hey guys this is my first post so bare with me. Got my Daytona last this past fall (awesome bike by the way I love it) but their was a few issues that had to be taking care of it.
The stock mirrors that come on it are not in any way attractive for this kind of bike. So the owner before my self put on a set of aftermarket mirrors himself good idea but just poor planning. I dont know what kind of mirrors they are or what they came off of but they didint work well. They vibrated like crazy and you couldnt see anything behind you and they were very hard too adjust them by yourself I had to sit on the bike and have a buddy hold them where I wanted them then tighten they down. So I scowered the net looking at virtually every site and every ebay page my browser could hold and after a long long time of comparing different mirrors I found a pair that were resonable priced (60$ or so and all said and done)and that I could retro fit to my bike. I got them of ebay

if this sight dosnt work just search for the ebay store sportingforless the mirrors are unifersal fit but didnt list a triumph daytona the two bolt holes are adjustable and they swifle 360 and they look great, they have integrated ones and just regular ones, as well as carbon, black, and crome. I chose the integrated carbon fiber ones as the mirrors that came off were already integrated and they didnt flash extremly fast.
The instilation was fairly easy since thier was already two holes from the other mirrors all I had to do was make them a little bigger then drill a smaller one in the middle of the two mounting ones for the bliker wire. I would recoment taking off the front fairing as it is so easy to do just two allen head screws and the 2 headlight plugs and its off. Otherwize you run the chance of craking the fairing by drilling through that and the metar fairing bracket. The wires on the new mirrors is a very small gauge but if you cut it long enough and double or triple it up if shall work fine, I heat shrinked all my connections to the original plugins just in case you ever have to replace your mirrors (god forbid). As you can see from the pics they look great and peform awesome great feild of vision and the lights work great, only thing is I wish they almost would stay on like parking lights pretty much just for night riding but that ok.
Hope this post helps other rats looking to get rid of their stock mirrors, I know I checked this site for the same thread and only found one other who attempted the task.
Thanks for the look and read. Josh
