I am wondering if the fork tubes off a 1997 Daytona T595 will work on a 2001 Speed Trip. I dont believe there was any change was there?
Is there a site to get fork tube specs etc of various manufacturers ?

Prarie - I don't have the name of the post at the tip of my mind, but I believe that DEcosse built a 'fork conversion' chart for installing USD forks onto a Daytona/Speed3 but I don't recall if it listed the OE specs for the conventional forks for each model? Here's one thread:

I did some google searches though and came up with the following links referring to specs on 1997 T595 and 2001 Speed3:

Basically, both models/years appear to run 45mm conventional forks (cartrige with adjustable compression/rebound) and in looking at various sets of triple clamps (was thinking about a USD conversion) a little while back, I recall that both bikes used a very similar, if not identical triple clamp....anybody else got more?

They are the same.
Identical dimensionally and specifications/internals.
Axle/calioper mounts are also same.
Completely interchangable.

The top triple clamp is different between the two but the lower clamp/steering stem is same. But then you only asked about the tubes anyway!
