When I enquired about this when I bought my Daytona, I was told that they didn't come as standard on the bike, and a hugger made specifically for the Daytona 955i did not exist!

I got a speed triple one off EBay, which fitted fine.

+1 on S3 three parts. I bought mine from shift tech, expensive but nice.

all of the 2002 came with a color matched hugger. Not sure what year that changed
