How's the battery? Checked the fuzes/relays? Is this the first time you've tried to start it in weeks/months?

For starters, if you have a voltmeter, check that the battery hasn't changed polarity (can happen when a battery goes dead).

Need more information - how long is it since the bike last ran? Were there any electrical problems before? Have you checked the fuses? Have you established that there's a good earth from the battery to the engine/frame?

It could possibly be a short or break in the wiring from the ignition switch, where it flexes as the steering is turned. Wiring is prone to fracturing there.

Thumbs up

I had problems with the wiring running to the rear brake lever. It was rubbing against the frame and shorting out. The wire routing on the Daytona is pretty ****house. Re-route and then insulat it. Should be no further problems.
