What's sup all. I am getting the plan together for Myrtle Beach. I have to trailer some bikes and put one in the bed. Has anyone ever transported in the bed before? What do I need besides the ramp to do this. I have tie downs on the bed rails, but I know those aren't strong enough. I have a Chevy 1500 with a plastic GM bed liner. I have never seen my truck without the bed liner, it came that way. I can't imagine that there are no tie down buckles on the floor. I haven't taken up the liner yet to see, but is anyone familiar with this at all, regardless of truck type? Jay

Not familiar with GMs but you need a canyon dancer harness to hook the tie downs to....John

Or you could go to the local hardware store and buy 4 big eye-bolts with big washers and big nuts. You decide if you want to install the eye-bolts in the 4 corners of the bed with the bed liner in place or remove the liner, install the bolts and then replace the liner.

My dodge has little "eyes" in the corners of the bed, and i just use regular old dirt bike tie down straps.

Chevys have tie down deals in the lower corners. Some people just cut a hole in there liners to access them.
