Hey guys i have questions i hope you can help ok i have a 05 daytona 955i and i just purchased a two bro slip on now do i have to get a power comander or tuneboy or can i run it stock and if i run it stock will it mess anything up

You at the very least need to have the dealer load the Triumph tune for the race pipe. It will run too lean otherwise....John

Actually the 03's and on have a closed loop oxygen system. No commander is needed with the slip on. Your bike will be paying close attention to things at all times.

The dealer has a better map than stock they can load up when you put on the can, but it's not needed. Some people like a K&N thrown in as well.

The closed loop thing is pretty cool. It's fun to smugly listen to our Japanese riding peers complain about the problems that arise from a PC!

I would agree with SpeedyWI have your dealer remap it with the after market tune and put a K&N air filter in it..

I have heard realy good things about the tune boy program, and my dealer has put one in a 02 Daytona and they said it makes the bike just that much better...
