One last Daytona Trip!

At this point in my life I feel as though I have to go to Daytona one last time. I'm not getting any younger and often feel too old for that kind of thing but the Monkeys are pulling my arm and the condo is free this year! Ormond Beach bound. Is anyone else going or will I be the only Thunderbird rider in Daytona????

Daytona Bound!

I too am not getting any younger(61!) and I am planning on going again. I went in '07 and again last year. It is a blast even if we're slowing down some. Some of my friends are dropping out, so I think I'm not getting there until Wednesday night with one riding buddy. We are staying at the Hampton in Palm Coast.

No Doubt...

...I will be making the annual pilgrimage... BUT it is only an hour and a half away! Daytona is WAY too much fun to miss...IMHO...

I would love to go, but I would likely have to ride through a foot of snow for several hundred miles

LOL, however, I suspect most people look at it as an excuse to take a motorcycle trip and pay little attention to the destination.

It's the A good day at work is still worse than a bad day on the golf course kind of thing...

Me and the Wife will be going up the first weekend. It's only a 90 minute ride up US-1 and it is a good excuse for a ride. I'll be on my bonnie and she will be on the honda. She's been riding the Triumph the last 2 months and I told her if she wants to go she will be on the honda

It isn't the first place I'd chose to go either but you don't see stuff like this anywhere else.....
