Rayzor61 is back...with more Triumphs but the T-Bird rules

Hey guys! I've been away from the forum so long I feel like an outsider. There are so many new T-Bird owners and forum guests that it looks like my initilal posts to help build this area of the sight have vanished (except for the "anyone get any accessories yet" thread.....)

How you been Engage, Dazco, Thatch, Birdy, Hypervista, and all of you July 09 owners?

As you know, I've since bought a Speed Triple and more recently, a new Scrambler.....love those Triumphs....I think I should be pronounced the USA's East Coast Triumph onwers accociations representative.....

No matter how many bikes I buy, the T-Bird is by far the King of the garage. No other bike can reside within several feet of the KING and I will always give her first preference on a country ride.....sometimes I take the blanket off of it so the other bikes can see and learn respect simply by being in the same company as the Bird...

That's right you new guys, I'm a freak for the T-Bird and as Dazco says, "I definately, get it" because I got it.

After you've owned it for a while, its easy to forget how well she actually handles and feels until you ride another bike...
In 3.5 months of ownership, I have yet to experience buyers remorse. Other bikes will come and go but the 2010 Triumph Thunderbird 1600 will be there till the end or until they come out with another color more brilliant then black.......lol

Scrambler owners; hit me up about your mods. I want to turn it into a "mini me" Thunderbird.

PS: I got the owners repair manual for the Bird but I refuse to modify it because it's already perfect........I can't see the point to ripping anything off of it! Why bother?

Fine thanks. I'm going a little mad lately - still haven't collected my Black-Bird (been sat at the dealer now for over 4 weeks!)

Glad to see you're keeping well. Even better to see you now have the 'other' bike I'd like to get (Scrammy).
See you around - or over there?

Leave the pork pies for now - get the sausage rolls while they're hot!

Hey Ray! Welcome back. I was beginning to wonder what the hell happened to you. I figured you were out alternating rides between that T-Bird and S-Triple before the winter shuts us down and didn't have time for the board.

Would love to see some pics of the Scrambler.

Hi Ray,

I rode a scrambler a week or so ago and liked it a lot. The speed triple bends my old body a bit, so I would opt for the Tiger, but I suspect I'll have another Triumph or two in the coming years.

Welcome back.

The new Scrambler. She's a little lame on power but very practical. I can ride this when the conditions are less then perfect for the Thunderbird.

Hot Damn! That's one nice looking bike! Must be nice to saunter into the garage and have a choice of rides for the day.... (respect!)

Believe it or not, my buying and selling over the years has enabled me to purchase these bikes with the profits of selling others. I could never justify spending this kind of money to the wife. Point is, I own them for a while, sell them and hopefully make a small profit. The Thunderbird is a keeper though. I use "Kramer math" with the wife. The Thunderbird was free, I tell her! lol.....so was the S3 and the Scrambler.

Everyone I know lost money in this down market (recession), I gained a few bikes! Anyway the Speed Triple is for sale.....
