Aftermarket Saddlebag Options

Was looking at some saddlebag options, how do I determine if they're going to work? I like the idea of th ghost brackets and of all the saddlebags I've seen so far, the ones from Viking are the best looking in my opinion. At least they are close in appearance to the factory bags. Any recommendations on picking some out? If anyone has a set of the stock bags, can you please post the dimensions? Thanks!

I'm waiting for the leather lykes. Had them on my Rocket and loved them.

throw-over/under

getting ready to purchase some day-to-day saddlebags -
don't really want to put on any side brackets - what are the best options for throw-over/under the seat types for a Bonnie?
Thanks to all in advance for your input...

ouch...

shoulda mentioned: I'm RICH by name only...

I'll have to save up for those. Maybe some faux leather bags will suffice in the meantime.

on second thought...

that's not too bad a price ($400) for some decent leather bags...
thanks - I'll have to consider these when I get paid

Amy did a good job on bags for my America and I will be going back to get larger bags for the Thunderbird.

Check out http://www.jafrum.com/ at these prices they are almost disposable. I would definitely go for a good set of brackets. especially for any soft bags. They tend to move around and can scratch paint or get damaged by moving parts.
