Thats not available yet. If you order one it will go on backorder till they are available, and according to the rep at dyno jet it could be a long while. So that store is listing them but doesn't have them and cannot get them, as they are not even in production. That IS however the correct part # for the Tbird unit.

The problem they are having is that because of some technical difference in the Tbird they have to find a way to get the unit to read the crank sensor. Beyond that i don't know the details because i don't exactly understand what he said, but thats the gist of it. So do NOT order one !

On a brighter note, i also asked about the autotune option and sure enough it will automatically make the necessary changes when you do any mod that affects fueling needs. You just have to get to the unit and accept the changes and it then becomes the default map. But thats all you have to do ! No dyno'ing of your bike necassary ! Exactly what i was thinking it does, and it will be a huge breakthrough that allows us to do any mods we want w/o having to do a thing except push "accept". Amazing ! Lets see what the "I don't want EFI cuz i can rejet carbs easier" guys say when they see this ! I believe it was something like $250 extra, but considering one dyno tune is around $300, it's dirt cheap. It is the fix for a setup that includes several parts/mods that in combination they have no map for and would require a dyno tune for. This way you can mod one thing at a time over time and not have to get it dyno tuned each time. Fabulous !

Well, i would believe the manufacturer before a retailer ! The retailer knows nothing more than us unless the too called them. I DID call them in any case, and they told me the have yet to figure out a way to make it work on the Tbird yet. When i asked how long he said he couldn't say, but i then asked could it be as long as a year, and his answer as exactly as follows..."i don't think it will take that long". So it doesn't sound like it's going to only be a few weeks. But we'll see. the one thing i do know unless the maker is lying to me (which is the opposite of what they'd obviously want to do) they are not only not available yet, but aren't even usable yet. They are still in the development stage.

that said, the retailer is of course going to want you to think it's just a matter of waiting for the next shipment because once you send them your money they gotcha. they don't care when you get it, but the know that if you don't send them your money right now theres a good chance you'll either change your mind by the time they're available or find a cheaper source.

Give them a call so you can hear it first hand....thats always more believable then when it comes from a second hand source. 1-800-992-4993
