Alrighty then:

If the Speedy and America riders would like to keep some bike specific info together in one place then you have a couple of options here.

Link to here from a post/thread that's model specific;

Post your favourite mods/upgrades here.

Chat / unnecessary comments will be deleted to keep the thread easy to follow.

Speed & Rev Calculator

I have attached a file that allows you to enter your bike set-up to show what revs you would be doings at any given speed.

It is for all Hinckley Twins 01-07. It will work with earlier & later models if the gearbox ratios are the same.

It is a Microsoft Excel file.

Rear signals blowing fuses

G'day
Just installed a pair of Kuryakyn halogen bullet rear turn signals with a pair of relocating bolts to mount to the fender struts on my speedmaster Beast an looks COOL but had to extend the original earth wire back to the signal bolts and glued the wires under the fender, conected the battery back in and tested all, the front signals worked for 2 seconds an blown the 10 amp fuse, try again with 15 amp fuse and blown strait away,
CAN ANY ONE HELP WHY THIS IS HAPPENING?
Cheers

Cheers Man
Yes i did have the live and ground wires mixed up, what a dick! BUT WHY, the new Kuryakin signal have only 1 black wire which is the live wire and my original signals have a black and green wires, me thinking green is earth and black is live, NO its the opposite, ( who would think the earths black, i should have listened to AC/DC Back in Black not Bob Marley ) And now works like they should.
Thanks again.

Chrome Kickstand

Greetings,

I have been searching for a chrome kickstand for my 2011 America. It probably came with one, but I know the dealer I purchased from does a lot of 'swaps'. (The sissy bar and luggage rack that was on a pacific blue "America Classic" with the wind shield, etc. left on my bike).

I've searched and googled and no luck. Seems like it should be an easy thing to find but no luck. My ugly black kickstand is kind of a bummer.

Thanks for any hints.

Hey Sonny. I been thinking about putting new fork springs and some gaiters on my 03 Speedy. What all did you get specifically for that mod, and was it a tricky job at all?
