Cool new cruiser

Looks like Triumph are working on a replacement for the Speedmaster/America using the Bobber frame and motor as a base. Great news!!

Great, if its as much fun and as comfortable to ride as the Bobber , I may well go for that !
Wish they would put some better looking Discs on the front though, like the new T100 ones.

Yepp Triumph will probably get my money for an upgrade in a few years. I was already looking for a BB kit or having to get a bigger bike ( which I did not want to do) so this make me a happy person.

2012 Speedmaster with BC Bombers, TTP Breathe Bellmouth and DNA filter, TORS tune with AI disabled,Corbin Seat , Biltwell moustache bars and other assorted goodies..

My dilemma starts.I wasn't going to get a bigger bike.I was just going to keep my[very capable, and actually all I need] America.I already told the bike, it has a home for life so I don't want to go back on what I said, but now,how to have my cake and eat it? My America will stay alone for a couple more years.I was going to buy a 650 Kawasaki in Thailand,I'm pretty near certain that will now be on hold, and start saving like hell for the 1200 Cruiser.

Paul, seems like we have been having this very conversation for a while. Many folks have been asking for the last year or so if Triumph would put the new 1200 in a new version of the America/Speedmaster. They kept really silent about this one. I wish there were more photos! I want to see it stripped down, without all of the aftermarket test pieces.

I have high hopes for this new Speedmaster!

Yes Sean I've been crying and wailing and stamping my feet about it on here, ad infinitum and ad nauseam as you and everyone else knows. I apologise for making everyone sick of hearing about it,but it looks like its on it's way!.
If they call it the speedmaster, this one should live up to the name if they keep the weight to a reasonable level.

P.S. I just remembered the guys at my local Triumph dealer in Thailand ,who are also probably sick to death of me, and my joking in bad Thai "Do you have a 1200 Triumph cruiser" told me earlier in the year a 1200 cruiser would be coming out in 2018. I thought they were just playing games.
