A gauge of volume? Cocktail shakers vs 16" slash cut

I like noise. Can't put it any simpler.
Motorhead since I was a baby, cocktail shakers now I'm a big kid.

I'm just in a mood for changing it up a little, trying other styles to see how they sound by comparison.
Looking at:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390862121547
Pretty cheap and cheerful - But does anyone know how they'd sound by comparison?

I'd say my shakers have a slightly sharp sound that's in need of some toning down (sounds amazing at speed but after a 70 mile ride I had muted hearing for two days!), how would these compare?

Got some mod's planned for when I'm finally making money again.
Starting with taking out that ugly airbox and relocating the battery. Progressive suspension and some 8-9" apes too.

I was looking at these also. My impression is they are going to be very loud might be more throaty then the cocktail shakers. You would still heir the pocket of the firing down the chamber.

I went with EMGO Exhaust and love the sound. I do at least one - 100 mile ride each way, every month and never has any issues with my hearing.
